Hi, I’m Jeremy Bean. I’m all about tech, guitar, and enjoying time with my wife and two sons. Music and movies are big parts of my life, keeping me inspired and creative. I made a big leap from teaching and mortgage finance into programming, which has always been my true passion. I’m excited to turn what I love into a career. I’m creative and enjoy solving problems, especially when it means collaborating with others to build something great.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with multiple companies on a diverse range of products, including online stores, inventory management systems, chat systems, daily life trackers, etc., all optimized for mobile. My technical skills encompass HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Web Sockets, API, C#, .NET Core, Bootstrap, jQuery, and Entity Framework. My previous roles in teaching and mortgage finance have significantly shaped my approach to web development. Teaching honed my patience, focus, creativity, and ability to think on my feet, while my experience in finance developed my self-starting nature, drive, and outcome-oriented mindset.

A home decluttering app that helps users organize their spaces down to individual walls, with features for zoning, progress tracking, coach support, and real-time communication.
Project Summary
I developed a comprehensive home decluttering application designed to help users manage and organize their living spaces down to the individual walls of their rooms. The app features an interactive zoning system, allowing users to mark and plan their decluttering efforts with the guidance of a coach. With the ability to add pictures and color-coded zones, users can track their progress by checking off zones, sections, and entire rooms. The app also includes a chat system for real-time communication with the coach, a task tracker, and a timer with audible cues to support focused cleaning sessions. Notifications keep users updated across mobile devices and desktop computers.

I developed a custom store app for a graphics and printing company, catering to notable clients such as Stengel-Hill, CMTA, and Fazoli's. This app allowed these companies to effortlessly order marketing products featuring their brand images, track orders from start to finish, and even view tracking numbers. The platform was tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, including a specialized business card ordering system.

The app also supported a notification system, ensuring users were always informed about important updates and milestones.
